Carpet Cleaning Questions Answered
What method of cleaning do you use?
When cleaning residential properties, the method we use for cleaning is hot water extraction, also known as steam cleaning. AmeriClean’s 11 Step hot water extraction method, allows for a thorough cleaning to remove the deepest dirt and spots from your carpet. We follow up with a powerful extraction to remove dirt, dander, our cleaning solutions and most of the moisture.
Should I vacuum before your crew arrives?
While a light vacuum of the traffic areas in the rooms that are scheduled to be cleaned is helpful, it isn’t required. Our crew will begin with a pre-vacuum of the cleaning areas.
How long will it take to clean my carpets?
On average, a standard room takes approximately 20-25 minutes to clean. This time can vary if furniture is being moved, carpet protector or pet deodorization is being applied, and the amount of soiling in the carpet.
How soon will my carpets be dry?
At AmeriClean, we use a speed drying method as well as a high power extraction to remove as much moisture as possible. By putting your ceiling fans on you will further aide in the drying process. You can expect that your carpets are completely dry after 4-6 hours from the cleaning end time.
What does the standard cleaning price include?
Our standard cleaning price includes all traffic areas in the room and is a thorough cleaning of the carpets but does not include any specialty treatments. Our technicians will move small pieces of furniture (end tables, coffee tables, and floor lamps) and any additional furniture moving can be done so at an additional cost.
What do you consider an area?
For us, a standard room is considered to be 225 square feet. Any room that measures over 225 but less than 500 square feet, is priced as two areas. Non-standard rooms (hallways, stairs, entryways, closets, etc.) are charged separately and typically at lower prices.
I had my carpets cleaned but spots reappeared. What should I do?
Although most spots that are removed during our thorough cleaning process, some spots in carpet backing may wick up to the surface after the cleaning. We apologize if this happens but don’t hesitate to call AmeriClean at 219-641-3711 as soon as you notice and we’ll be happy to do our best to resolve the issue.
Do you guarantee customer satisfaction?
